eenage me would be speechless.

Back then, my pocket money went into Mickey Mouse magazines. Later, it was every issue of c’t I could get my hands on. Soon enough, I was devouring everything from the heise publishing house — especially MIT Technology Review, which still holds a special place for me.

To me, heise has long represented the gold standard of tech journalism: trusted, smart, critical and forward-thinking. They are probably (among) the most frequented and respected German (and thus European) tech news platform. So you can imagine how surreal — and incredibly rewarding — it is to see our podcast programmier.bar featured on their developer news portal.

Even better: this isn’t a one-off. Our latest episode with Prof. Stephan Jacob (on gamification and space exploration!) is just the beginning. From now on, every technical Deep Dive episode we publish will be showcased on their platform.

For our team, this recognition is more than just a milestone — it’s a validation of years spent crafting content, trying new formats, and building a vibrant, thoughtful and inclusive community based on tech enthusiasm.

Huge thanks to Michael Maier, Madeleine Domogalla and Maika Möbus for making this partnership possible — and to my incredible co-hosts and our listeners.

You’ve helped us shape something real, and this journey is far from over…
